Paul Rietschka
In additional to his analyst role here at Konteksto, Paul is also a co-founder of our organization.
With a background in academia and the nonprofit sector, Paul brings over a decade of experience in “pure” and directed research to the table and is fully fluent in quantitative and qualitative approaches, though his real passion these days is using mixed-methods techniques to tackle business problems.
On the technical side, Paul is proficient in most major statistical software packages and, though R was his first love, he works mostly with the PyData stack at present. Additionally, Paul is experienced with various SQL and NoSQL database systems; distributed file systems including Hadoop and Spark; visualization software including Tableau, MicroStrategy, and various Python- and R-based visualization packages; as well as the major Microsoft analytics offerings including Power BI and Azure for machine learning.
On the project management side, Paul has experience in both Scrum and Agile methodologies.
In his free time Paul is a runner and regular marathon competitor; when not in the office, he can usually be found pounding the pavements and trails of the Puget Sound region.
